Living at home
Facilities for students living at home
Students living at home have access to all the same facilities as everyone else - and more.
As a University of Leicester student you have full access to the David Wilson Library, which is open 24/7. There are lockers near the entrance where you can store your stuff, and laptops you can borrow. There are a variety of study spaces, including silent, quiet and collaborative rooms, to give you space to work before, after or between scheduled teaching.
You can use all the University sports facilities, both on campus and out at Oadby. You can take part in intramural sport and even represent Leicester against DMU in Varsity Week (if you're good enough!).
The Students' Union is yours to use: join whatever clubs or societies interest you (or start one of your own); pick up lunch or a snack; and call on the support services available.
