Application process
Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS)
International students wishing to study an undergraduate course at a UK university should apply through (UCAS) if your school or college is registered with the service. UCAS provide application advice for international students eligible to use this application method. There is some key information you’ll need to apply to the University of Leicester. This includes our institution name: LEICR and institution code: L34. You will also need to add a course code; this will depend on what course(s) you apply for. Take a look at our full list of undergraduate courses to find out which code you need to use.
Apply directly to the University
International students can apply directly to study at Leicester. When making an application, make sure you have the following documents:
- Academic qualifications and transcripts
- Personal statement
- References, or the name and contact details of people we can request references from (at least one must be an academic referee)
- Proof of English language competency (if English is not your first language)
