Agents and representatives
Before applying and enrolling to study at the University of Leicester, applicants can seek support from one of our trusted and official University of Leicester representatives listed on our country pages. Sometimes referred to as Recruitment Partners, Educational Advisors, Counsellors or Agents, an official University of Leicester representative, will do the following things:
- They will assist you with your application, provide necessary advice, and support you in preparing and submitting any required documents, including support with other elements to your study plans such as accommodation, flight and visa. Whilst the representative is there to assist in this process, you should have overall responsibility of your application and any communications.
- Representatives will be given full access to the data provided in your application form, and they will be given permission to discuss all aspects of your application with the University of Leicester.
- Representatives shall be honest in their communications with you regarding the University, and vice versa.
- Representatives shall not provide the student or University with false or misleading information.
- Representatives must behave with integrity and honesty and are appointed following a thorough selection process. The University of Leicester also provides all representatives with ongoing training and annual reviews to ensure we maintain the highest standards.
Representatives of the University of Leicester are paid commission for their services*.
*With the exception of the United States or representatives working with students receiving US federal loans.
