The Future Students Office provides expert information, advice and guidance to students, parents and teachers through from Primary School to Mature learners, wherever you are in the world.

Our mission is to provide students from all backgrounds with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their future. The team, experts in their field, will help you meet your Gatsby benchmarks by providing encounters with Higher Education via the delivery of engaging talks and workshops, facilitating academic visits and our brilliant subject taster days. We’ll also attend your Careers events and put on fantastic conferences and regional networking opportunities

Teacher’s Guide

The Teachers’ Guide has been produced by UniTasterDays.com in collaboration with HELOA, to support the university guidance that is provided in secondary schools and colleges. 

This editorial has been provided by over 60 colleagues, including universities throughout the UK – and of course the University of Leicester. It is on topics covering how to support students with their university decisions, university events, widening participation and fair access, UCAS applications (including writing school references) and many more.

Continuing Professional Development

Our School of Education offers enjoyable and challenging CPD courses covering a wide range of curriculum and specialist subjects. Postgraduate Certificates and Masters degrees are offered part-time, and currently these programmes are subsidised by the TDA for those with Qualified Teacher Status.

UCAS have launched a handy toolkit with resources to support you guide your students through the application process. It contains packs for students, advisors and information for parents. You can also sign up to receive updates and information for advisors directly from UCAS.
