Varsity 2026
The biggest university sporting contest in the city will see the University of Leicester and De Montfort University battle it out to be crowned 2026 Varsity champions. Over 40 University of Leicester sports teams compete in 20 different sports across five days.
It all begins on Wednesday 18 March 2026 with Indoor Cricket, Climbing, Futsal and Rowing, who will contest for the first points of the series. The competition comes to an end on Sunday 22 March 2026, where the University of Leicester hope to retain the Varsity title and get their 24th win.
