Travelling to the University

Commuting to the University of Leicester couldn't be easier.

Reduced season tickets are available for Arriva buses who operate two bus routes from the city centre to University Road: the U1 from St Margaret's Bus Station and the 47 (48 return) from the Haymarket Bus Station via the Railway Station.

Coming in by train? The Railway Station is about 10-15 minutes' walk away from campus. Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham, Sheffield, Peterborough, Loughborough, Bedford and Chesterfield are all within one hour of Leicester by train.

Cycling to campus? Register for free to use the card-access underground bicycle store which can hold 300 bikes. Worked up a sweat? There are showers in the Attenborough Seminar Block, Charles Wilson Building and George Davies Centre.
