Information you need to know

Leicester Law School is part of the University of Leicester who is the Data Controller of your submitted information.

This privacy notice explains how we use your personal information and your rights regarding that information.

What information are we collecting?

Your name and email address.

Why are we collecting your data?

To manage our student recruitment service.

How we will use this data?

To administer your request for course information and/or process your event booking.

We will also use your data for other administrative purposes, for example: to undertake statistical analysis, conduct market research and internal filtering purposes in order to ensure the information we send is relevant to you.

What is the legal basis for processing the data?

Your consent.

If we are sharing your data with others who are we sharing it with?

Your data may be shared with other departments within the University.

How long we will process your data for?

We will process/hold your data for the current academic year +1 year. (The academic year ends in July.)

What are your rights and how to enforce them?
