Kevin Scott
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Scott, a dedicated and beloved porter at Oadby Student Village, who left us on 28 June 2024. Kevin was 61 years old.
Kevin joined the Oadby Student Village team on 5 November 2001, and over the past two decades, he became an integral part of the community. Known for his unwavering work ethic, extensive knowledge, and keen eye for detail, Kevin's contributions went beyond his daily duties. His expertise, particularly regarding John Foster properties, was unparalleled and greatly appreciated by students who lived with us and his colleagues.
Kevin's team fondly remembers him as someone who was always willing to lend a hand. His willingness to assist others and his calm, reliable presence during emergencies made him a cherished colleague and friend. Whether it was a routine task or a crisis, Kevin could be counted on to provide support and ensure everything was handled smoothly.
Beyond his professional life, Kevin was a warm and kind-hearted individual who touched the lives of many. His legacy of dedication, kindness, and commitment will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of working with him.
Kevin Scott will be deeply missed by his colleagues, friends, and all members of the Oadby Student Village community. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his contributions will not be forgotten.
