Amit Sinha

Amit is the Supercomputer Management Leader and Senior Director for Engineering Operations at Microsoft.  He was previously the Chief Technology Officer for SMB, Scale and Private Equity (PE) at Microsoft UK.  He advises companies and PE houses on their technology roadmap from a technology, business and innovation perspective, drawing on over 13 years of practical experience.  Amit has worked across multiple sectors transforming small and large organisations into nimble digital businesses using Cloud, DevOps and Custom Development.  His background is in building robust and flexible IT platforms which enable customers to rapidly innovate and disrupt the market.

Amit is an Executive Fellow at the World Economic Forum, an official member for the Forbes Technology Council, and is a British Computing Society Fellow.

He is passionate about STEM and the development of technology skills for the next generation of the engineering workforce.  He is a trustee at the Sci4Us charity, an award-winning children's STEM club, providing children of all backgrounds with the inspiration and resources to engage in STEM.  Additionally, he is a trustee at a Codebar, an international charity enabling minority group members to learning programming in a safe and collaborative environment and expand their career opportunities.
