AccessAbility Centre and White Card Holder scheme
The AccessAbility Centre supports students with specific learning difficulties, sensory disabilities, mobility difficulties, mental health conditions and autism.
AccessAbility staff can consult with students about their needs and register them onto the White Card Scheme. This scheme entitles you to help from Library staff with tasks such as photocopying material, collecting books from the shelves, and finding suitable study spaces. White Card Holders do not have a physical white card issued to them but their Library account is updated to reflect their connection to the scheme.
Please contact the AccessAbility Centre to request use of this scheme and for further information about support available to you.
Support for staff with a disability
Information for staff with a disability can be found on Sharepoint (login required). This includes advice on using Assistive Technology such as Inspiration and Read and Write.
