Languages at Leicester

New courses starting in October 2025

Registrations will open on Monday 14 July 2025 at midday.

Anyone can learn a new language at the University of Leicester. You don't need any connection with the University to take advantage of our language expertise - if you are over 18, you can learn one of 16+ languages with Languages at Leicester. With both online and on-campus courses available, anyone can improve their language skills.

Japanese Language Proficiency Test

Registrations for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) in December 2025 at Leicester will open on Monday 4 August 2025.
