Virtual sessions

We offer a number of virtual sessions for individuals or scfemale student sat in a room working on a computerhools who are unable to come to campus. All of our virtual sessions are completely free to join and will take place on Microsoft Teams. We recommend these talks are suitable for students in Year 9 and above.

The Chemistry of Life (and Food)

Tuesday 10 March 2026, 4.30pm-5.30pm

For British Science Week, we’ll be using everyday foods as a starting point, where Josh, a finalist in the 14th series of The Great British Bake Off, will uncover the hidden chemistry of life and show how curiosity drives researchers to ask new questions and make discoveries.

Applying to Medicine for Year 10 and 11 students

Wednesday 18 March 2026, 6.00pm-7.30pm

Come along to this virtual session to learn everything you need to know about the process of applying to study Medicine at university designed specifically for students in Years 10 and 11. From the importance of GCSE grades and choosing the right A-Levels to gaining an understanding of what universities are looking for from their candidates.
