Students deliver campaign to encourage more students to attend Leicester Comedy Festival

University of Leicester students have continued the tradition of putting theory into practice by supporting this year’s Leicester Comedy Festival.

Students from our MSc Marketing for the Creative Industries programme collaborated on a live project to identify potential new customers for the 26th Leicester Comedy Festival.

They worked together to target marketing communications in a way that would expand the existing customer base to include more University of Leicester students. They were the perfect people to test the new approach given that they are the target audience!

This is the fourth year postgraduate marketing students have had the opportunity to put what they have learnt to the test by supporting the Leicester Comedy Festival.
