Post-War history exhibition concludes

The Oral History of Post-War Leicester 1945-1962 project is coming to an end and has marked this with an afternoon exhibition at the Newarke Houses Museum in Leicester. The exhibition featured material that has been gathered over the course of the project and included voices from the interviews, films, books, photos and other relevant material.

The intention is to create a web exhibition about the post-war history of Leicester. The East Midlands Oral History Project is based at the University and further details are available on the project’s webpage.
