Leicester Precision Medicine Institute leads discussion on innovation in healthcare at Venturefest 2017
The University of Leicester will be showcasing its strengths in healthcare, space and transport innovation at a major event designed to support regional innovation led growth.
Dr Alasdair Gaw, Commercial Director of Leicester Precision Medicine Institute, will lead a session on innovation in healthcare at this year’s Venturefest East Midlands at Derby Arena on 22 March.
Dr Gaw will share the stage with a senior figure from pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson as he delivers his session on ‘Delivering innovation in Healthcare: The need for collaboration between industry, universities and the NHS for UK health and wealth’.
The University of Leicester, which is one of the main regional sponsors of the event, will also be showcasing its strengths in healthcare, space and transport innovation in the exhibition hall.
