Global leadership development company Vistage, with over 23,000 members across the world, is holding its Open Day on Friday 28 October at the King Power Stadium in Leicester where more than 150 CEOs, MDs and business leaders from across the UK will be convening as part of the Leicester Business Festival.

The Vistage Open Day event is organised in partnership with our University and will feature a lively and engaging discussion on ‘The Business Model’ providing useful tips and methodologies to companies to help them determine if their business is scalable and ready for growth ambitions.

The workshop is led by keynote speaker Glen Daley, winner of the Vistage Speaker of the Year award 2009 and 2015. Glen’s consulting experience covers a wide range of businesses from insurance to retail, manufacturing to construction and includes both non-profit and government organisations.

Professor Zoe Radnor (pictured), Dean of the School of Business and Professor of Service Operations Management, will close the session with an insight into how businesses can gain competitive advantage by working with the University of Leicester through research and development as well as how they can access funded innovation support through the University to help develop and introduce innovative products, services and processes.

Professor Radnor said: The excellent relationship developing between Vistage and the University of Leicester is a great example of mutually beneficial partnership working; the partnership makes it easier for the thousands of growth oriented Vistage member companies to utilise the wealth of expertise, skills, facilities and technologies and subsidised innovation support from the University of Leicester to develop competitive advantage and profitability while making it easier for the University to engage with companies interested in innovation, skills development and growth”.

The Vistage and University of Leicester event, organised in association with the Leicester Business Festival, will take place on Friday 28 October 2016 at the King Power Stadium between 8:00am – 2:15pm.
