Postgraduate study

The Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Leicester is a one-year campus-based Masters degree (two years if you choose to study part-time). You can enhance your general legal skills with the LLM, or take the opportunity to specialise in a particular stream of the law, such as international human rights law or international commercial law.

You will be taught by staff with expertise across legal boundaries, and you will receive excellent small-group teaching which integrates world-leading and internationally excellent research. You will be studying for a highly-regarded degree that will enhance your legal skills and knowledge, providing an outstanding foundation for legal and other careers.

Masters Excellence Scholarship

Four Masters Excellence Scholarships are available from the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities for new UK/EU Masters applicants. Each scholarship will provide a full fee waiver and £9,000 stipend. Deadline 29 May 2020. Full details.
