C3ITEES
C3ITEES Passport: a unified model for opening up the environment
The C3ITEES project will develop an inclusive environmental engagement passport to help young people build knowledge, skills and confidence in environmental science, climate adaptation and green careers. C3ITEES Passport will support young people to explore their local environments, understand environmental challenges, and see themselves as active contributors to environmental futures. At Leicester, we will design and deliver hands-on workshops for schools using replicas cores of sediments, and rocks, and fossilised corals recovered from beneath the Arctic, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, enabling pupils to investigate evidence for past climate change, sea-level rise, meteorite impacts, and ecosystem recovery and freshwater beneath the seabed.
