Staff Exchange 教师交流

The purpose of the DLI is to advance the exchange of culture, science, engineering and technology between China and the United Kingdom, promoting the development of education in both countries and facilitating academic collaboration between Dalian University of Technology and the University of Leicester. Staff exchanges between Dalian University of Technology and the University of Leicester are at the heart of this.

莱斯特国际学院的办学目的是促进中英文化，科学，工程和技术的交流，促进两国教育的发展，促进大连理工大学与莱斯特大学之间的学术合作，因此，大连理工大学与莱斯特大学之间的教职工交流是其中的核心。

The programmes and teaching are designed with UoL faculty (so-called “flying faculty”) visiting DUT Panjin campus for short, intensive, teaching visits of, typically, 2-3 weeks. During these visits, not only do the flying faculty deliver their teaching (lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops) to the DLI students, but also the staff give research seminars on the Panjin and Dalian campuses, learn about Chinese and DUT education systems and discuss learning and teaching approaches with their DLI colleagues.

莱斯特国家学院的课程由莱斯特大学教师（所谓的“飞行​​教师”）访问大连理工大学盘锦校区进行短期、密集的教学访问，通常为2-3周。访问期间，飞行教师不仅为莱斯特国际学院的学生提供教学（讲座，辅导，报告会，研讨会），参加盘锦校区和大连校区的师生研讨会，了解中国和大连理工大学的教育系统，并与中国同事一起讨论教学方法。

Learning and teaching discussions also occur when DUT staff visit the UoL campus (in either July/August or January/February). These visits also allow DUT staff to improve their English language skills (essential for the delivery of their DLI classes in English), to experience teaching on the UoL campus, to take classes in the Leicester Learning Institute and to develop their understanding of UoL processes and procedures.

当大连理工大学教师访问莱斯特大学时（7月/ 8月或1月/ 2月），也会进行学习和教学讨论。访问期间，中方教师将提高他们的英语语言技能（对于他们使用英语教学至关重要），体验莱斯特大学的教学，在莱斯特学习研究所上课，并加深对莱斯特大学规章制度、办事流程的了解。
