Optical microscopy
The AMC has an optical microscopy suite which contains a variety of instruments which are available for the optical examination of materials. These range from low power stereo zoom microscopes to high power reflected and transmitted light instruments.

- Brightfield Microscopy
- Darkfield Microscopy
- Phase Contrast Microscopy
- Polarised Light Microscopy
