Presessional English Programme
The Presessional English Programme is for students who want to start an undergraduate or postgraduate course at university, but first need to improve their level of English.
Our Presessional Programme will give you the English language and academic skills you need for successful study at a UK university. Students who complete the Presessional Programme with suitable grades will meet the English language entry requirements for University of Leicester degree programmes.
Structure of the programme

- 15 hours per week of self-study.
- When a bank holiday or University closure day falls during term time, the teaching timetable may be adjusted. The full list of bank holidays and university closure days is published on the University's website and updated every year.
