University of Leicester appoints Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Professional Services)
The University of Leicester has appointed a new Deputy Vice-Chancellor to lead the Professional Services teams at the University.
Kerry Law will begin the role of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Professional Services) on Wednesday 1 June and will lead and coordinate the delivery of the professional services mission to shape the future of the University. This new role will be pivotal in supporting the University’s Vice-Chancellor and Executive Board in delivering the University’s new strategic plan.
Kerry currently works at the University of Leicester as the Chief Marketing and Engagement Officer within Professional Services. She has significant leadership experience in Higher Education and joined the University of Leicester in January 2019 as Chief Marketing and Engagement Officer, leading the External Relations Division and supporting the University in shaping and delivering the future vision of the University. Prior to joining Leicester, Kerry was the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at the University of Nottingham..
She has also occupied senior roles at De Montfort University, where she was the Director of External Relations for over 12 years, and FTSE100 company Pearson, where she led a team to launch and establish industry-focused degrees. Kerry is on the Board of Trustees at Leicester Grammar School.

She is an active member of the University’s Executive Board, and led the development of the University’s brand identity ‘Citizens of Change’ and is currently leading the University’s Centenary celebration planning, amongst other achievements. She is an outstanding leader who is respected by colleagues across the University and external partners for her many contributions.”
