Bake Off host will make for Quite Interesting graduation
Those bowled over by Bake-Off this year will find plenty to celebrate at our graduation ceremonies this summer.
Great British Bake Off and QI presenter Sandi Toksvig will join public figures from the worlds of cricket, academia, business and broadcast for a week of celebrations of University of Leicester graduands and their achievements at their graduation ceremonies from 17 – 20 July at De Montfort Hall.

Around 3,500 University of Leicester graduands will receive their degrees across eight ceremonies representing the University’s three Colleges, before an audience of graduating students and their families.

President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Paul Boyle said: “University is the start of many great careers, including those of two of our own graduates that return to be honoured this week. Graduation is when we celebrate the culmination of the years of hard work and determination of our students, but it is not the end of their journey. As they look to their futures and launch their careers we are fortunate to also be honouring six individuals with inspiring stories of their very different and very successful paths in life.”
If you're graduating next week, you'll be able to share the special moment when you cross the stage. Look out for an email from our Alumni Engagement Team which will contain a video clip of the moment you graduate. And remember to post your photos to #LeicesterGrad18!
