Work for Us

If you are interested in joining one of the world's leading research intensive universities to deliver significant and transformative advances in a wide range of areas of Structural and Chemical Biology, Cell Proliferation and Differentiation, Regulation of gene expression or Channels, Receptors and Signalling, please see our current vacancies below.

There are 7 postdoctoral positions available for the project "How do RNA-binding proteins control splice site selection?” across the Universities of Leicester, Strathclyde and Glasgow.

  • This is a multi-disciplinary project to investigate the molecular basis of regulation by proteins. It is funded by the BBSRC and will start in 2020. We are interested in recruiting excellent and ambitious postdocs with expertise in:
  • physics/nanoengineering
  • synthetic chemistry
  • physical chemistry
  • structural biology
  • single molecule biophysics
  • RNA biochemistry

In addition, we are keen to hear from

  • potential candidates for external fellowships and
  • applicants for PhD studentships.

If you are interested and wish to be involved, please send expressions of interest to: Ian Eperon (eci@leicester.ac.uk), Cyril Dominguez (Cyril.Dominguez@leicester.ac.uk), Andrew Hudson (ah242@leicester.ac.uk), Glenn Burley (Glenn.Burley@strath.ac.uk), or Alasdair Clark (Alasdair.Clark@glasgow.ac.uk). Advertisements for the specific posts will appear soon.
