East of England NHS Genomics Medicine Centre
The East of England NHS Genomics Medicine Centre provides innovation and training in genomic medicine, recruiting participants to the East of England NHS Genomics Medicine Centre.
East Genomics unites patient care teams, genomic laboratories, researchers and educators to deliver the benefits of the NHS Genomic Medicine Service to communities across the East Midlands and East of England. Ensuring a coordinated, centrally managed and consistent genomic care, testing and learning across the East Midlands and East of England.
Leicester is a world leader in many speciality areas and hosting several of the National Institute for Health Research bodies with the Universities of Leicester and Loughborough: the NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre, the Clinical Research Network: East Midlands and Collaboration in Leadership for Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC/ARC) East Midlands. We also support clinical research through the Experimental Cancer Medicine Research Centre and the HOPE Unit. Underpinned by a joint research governance structure to support the clinical trails.
