Freemens Common Cottages

Freemen's Common Cottages are located next to the Bob Burgess Building on Freemen's Common. 

The group study rooms in Freemen's Common Cottages for groups of 4, 6 or 12 can be booked up to 4 days in advance through Book a Study Space. These rooms can only be booked and used by current University of Leicester students (including Postgraduate Research Students). They are not available for individual study, teaching, presentation, interviews or meetings

The rooms are available Monday to Sunday 8.00am to 10.00pm. You will need your student ID card to access these rooms.

If the room is not occupied within 15 minutes of the start of a booking it may be rebooked by contacting the Library by telephone 0116 252 2448, email library@leicester.ac.uk or text 0116 347 0605.

Each room is laid out meeting room style and has a wall mounted TV with connections to display and you will need to bring your own device and log on to the Wi-Fi as there are no PC's available in these rooms. Laptops are available for loan from the David Wilson Library, subject to availability.
