With over 20 years of graduates practising law in Canada, Leicester Law School has an excellent reputation in Canada as a leading institution for legal education. Our tailor-made law degrees (known as programs in Canada) will provide you with specialised support from day one.
We have the largest number of Canadians in any UK law school including a thriving community of over 500 Canadian students a year and an alumni network of over 3,000 Canadian graduates. Our staff comprise of global experts, including academics from Canada, and you'll be able to take two Canadian law modules (known as courses in Canada), Foundations of Canadian Law and Canadian Constitutional Law, which help you prepare for two of the NCA exams. Many of our Canadian students return to Canada to practise law after studying with us.
The Leicester Canadian Law Society will help you adjust to living and studying with us. They offer a wide variety of opportunities to get involved in including legal competitions. You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities right at the heart of campus; including a law library, moot court and Legal Advice Clinic.
