The Centre for Academic Achievement provides one-to-one help, advice and resources for students.
We offer support with:
- Maths and Statistics
- Academic writing
- Dissertations, projects and assignments
- Study skills and preparing for exams
- Referencing and finding information
To get help from one of our advisers drop in during our opening hours or request an appointment. Remote appointments are available for distance learning students.
In addition to help and advice from the Centre for Academic Achievement, you can access support from the English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU), IT for Students (log in required) and the Students' Union Advice Service. The Doctoral College also provides support for postgraduate research students.
Opening hours and location
The Centre for Academic Achievement is open 10.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, during term time. You can find the centre on the ground floor of the Library, next to the Silent Study Zone.
