CELTA taster

CELTA, the industry standard language teaching qualification, is delivered at the ELTU.

Come along to one of our micro taster events delivered by our experienced CELTA trainers. These sessions last one hour, are free and are held either on the University of Leicester campus, or online. You will experience a flavour of what Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) involves, what knowledge and skills an ESOL teacher needs and whether this could be a possible career path for you!

We are running CELTA micro tasters, 5.00pm - 6.00pm on the following dates in 2025:

• Tuesday 29 April - online
• Wednesday 14 May - face to face
• Wednesday 25 June - online
• Wednesday 9 July - face to face
• Wednesday 6 August - online

No previous teaching experience is required. Please register your interest below and we will send you further information.
