Academic Skills for International Students

The Centre for International Training and Education (CITE) offers a range of free modules, lectures and workshops developed together with academic departments to meet the needs of international students currently studying at the University of Leicester. 

Our bespoke modules, lectures and workshops focus on:

• Assessment requirements
• Critical thinking in your subject area
• Academic Writing, Reading and Speaking
• Academic style
• Dissertation writing

Students can also book an individual study consultation to: 

• Discuss assessment tasks and receive personalised feedback
• Improve pronunciation with a Pronunciation Coach
