Profile

Chris is an Academic Clinical Fellow in Intensive Care Medicine. He completed his medical degree at Hull York Medical School and intercalated in Neuropsychology (BSc) at Bangor University and later at University College London in Clinical Neuroscience (MSc). Chris then worked as an Academic Foundation Doctor in the North East. He undertook research at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Mitochondrial Research in Newcastle.

Research

Chris has previous research experience in machine learning, neuroimaging, and laboratory techniques including immunofluorescence and western blotting. His current research aims to explore the nature of Covid-19 infection in patients with significant co-morbidities requiring differing levels of organ support.
