Clinical Research Fellow in Cardiac Surgery
Background
Suraj is a clinical research fellow in cardiac surgery. He initially trained as an engineer, completing a degree in Bioengineering from Imperial College London. He subsequently obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Leicester. His PhD focusses on the use of advanced statistics, machine learning and artificial intelligence to estimate key trial parameters and optimise the design of novel pragmatic clinical trials that will address research priorities in cardiac surgery.
