Public archaeology and outreach

We offer a wealth of opportunities and professional archaeological support for community groups, heritage organisations and schools involved in archaeology projects.

Display and interpretation

The ULAS team offers a wide range of display and interpretation services to help enhance and present the historic environment for a wide audience, including:

Community archaeology

We help local groups and communities interested in exploring and recording their historic environment, who need extra experience and expertise to drive a project forward:

  • Bespoke training courses and workshops on a wide range of archaeological skills, including test-pitting, site recording and interpretation, photogrammetry, finds identification and report writing. Advice on project funding
  • Community project management
