International Student Experience Team
The University’s dedicated International Student Experience team are here to help international students to settle into their new life in Leicester and support them throughout their studies.
We also work with teams across the University to ensure that international students get the guidance and support they need to make the most of their time in the UK.
Where to find us
We are based in the Global Lounge on the ground floor of the Charles Wilson Building. We run our Global Lounge Help Hub every Tuesday and Thursday between 12-2pm. Drop-in with any questions – no appointment needed!

How we can support you
We support international students from the moment they arrive, through to graduation. This includes practical help (such as opening a bank account or registering with a doctor), as well as personal support if they’re feeling homesick or adjusting to a new culture.
We also run lots of events throughout the year to help international students settle in, make friends, develop transferable skills and build their confidence as they create their life in the UK.
