Leicester is one of the most diverse places in the country and we want to ensure all our students are able to settle in and make the most of their time here.  Explore our dedicated Community pages to find out more.

We welcome a large number of black students who choose to study and live here. The University of Leicester and De Montfort University have collaborated to create the Black Students’ Guide to Leicester. The guide is made up of peer-recommended businesses such as grocery shops and barbers and hairdressers, as well as community groups, helping you feel at home in a new city as soon as you arrive.
