We can’t wait to welcome you to your Offer Holder Day. The event runs between 9.30am and 4.00pm.
You’ll start the day with your academic department, diving deeper into your chosen subject area. After lunch, you’ll be able to choose between a range of activities. Take a look at the Offer Holder Day programme and plan your day.
Arriving on campus 9.00am – 9.30am
You should aim to arrive on campus between 9.00am and 9.30am*. Our friendly team will be there to welcome you and help you find where you need to go to register and get that all important coffee before your first subject session.
We know that visiting somewhere for the first time can sometimes be stressful, so browse information about travel, parking and overnight accommodation to help you plan your journey in advance.

*Registration for Medicine is between 9.00am and 9.30am, with talks starting at 9.30am.
Registration 9.30am – 10.00am
Once on campus, head to your subject registration point, where we’ll scan the QR code in your email to check you in. During registration you also receive your welcome pack including full details of the day, a campus map and your free drinks voucher.
Registration takes place between 9.30am and 10.00am for most subjects.

Important information for parents and carers
Some of the subject sessions are for students only. Don't worry though, there is lots for you to do during these times. You can visit the parents and carers lounge or attend talks specifically tailored for you. All the details are included in the Offer Holder Day programme.
Tours and general talks All day
After your subject sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to explore university life at Leicester. You could take a tour of campus, visit our two accommodation sites and see what we have to offer on a self-guided tour, or attend some of our general talks covering everything you need to know about student life. We also have our Student Life Fair, where our friendly team are ready to answer your questions and you can meet some of our student societies who can tell you more about student life, beyond your studies.
Top tip
Use the Offer Holder Day programme to plan how you would like to spend the afternoon. The time will soon fly by.
Food and drink All day
We’ve got loads of great options across our campuses for when you’re ready for a bite to eat or a drink.
Please be aware we’re a cashless campus and only accept contactless or chip and PIN card payments.
Don’t miss your free drink
When you register, you’ll receive one free drinks voucher to use at any of our campus outlets (excluding Pearls Bubble Tea and alcoholic drinks).

Getting around campus
Most of our campus is accessible with a short walk between buildings. If you do require any help or support for the day, please do get in touch with us via email at study@le.ac.uk.
Campus zones
We’ve divided our campus into colour-coded zones to make it easier for you to find your way:
- Purple: Freemen’s Common
- Orange: Right side of central campus
- Green: Left side of central campus (includes Maurice Shock Building and George Davies Centre)
- Pink: Brookfield campus

When you register, you'll be given a printed version of the campus map so you can find your way around easily using our zone system.
The Village accommodation
The Village accommodation is located nearby in Oadby. If you’re driving, use LE2 2ND in your SatNav to find it, where free parking is available. Alternatively, you can take advantage of our free shuttle bus from either central campus or Brookfield.
Campus shuttle bus
Our free shuttle bus makes it easy to travel between central campus, Brookfield, and The Village.
Regular buses will run between central campus (outside the Security Lodge), Brookfield, and The Village from 11.00am to 4.00pm.
The last bus from The Village back to central campus (via Brookfield) will depart at 4.00pm. Please be aware we advise you allow 90 minutes to tour The Village in full so arriving after 3.00pm may limit what you can see.
Brookfield only
Three buses will leave from central campus (outside the Security Lodge) to Brookfield at 9.00am, 9.20am and 9.40am.

Travel, parking, and accommodation
Getting to campus is easy. We're located close to great transport links - whether that's road, train or even a plane!
Wherever you're travelling from, we have provided all the information you need to find your way to us.
Please be aware Leicester City Council will be completing essential resurfacing work to University Road on Saturday 12 April 2025. Don’t worry - everything has been planned to ensure that your Offer Holder Day experience remains smooth and unaffected.
Travelling by car
Central campus, Freemen’s Common or The City accommodation
- Park in our multi-storey car park (MSCP) on Putney Road (LE2 7TF).
- Enjoy a reduced parking rate of just £2.50 for the day. You can pay on arrival or exit.
- The car park has a height limit of 2.1m.
- Follow the yellow AA signs in Leicester to navigate the new road system.
If the MSCP is full
- Use local pay-and-display car parks at Lancaster Road (LE1 7HA) or Victoria Park (LE1 7RY).
For Brookfield campus
If your offer is for Accounting and Finance, Business and Management, Economics, or Marketing, head straight to Brookfield (Holmfield Road, LE2 1SD), where parking is free.
Accessible parking
If you need disabled or accessible parking, email us at study@le.ac.uk so we can arrange suitable parking for you.
Travelling by train
- Leicester train station is about a 15-minute walk to central campus and 25-minute walk to Brookfield.
- You can walk or get a taxi; use LE1 7RH to get to central campus, or LE2 1SD to get to Brookfield.
Travelling by coach
- Most coaches arrive at St Margaret’s Bus Station or Leicester Haymarket Bus Station which are both about a 35-minute walk to central campus and 45-minute walk to Brookfield.
- You can walk or get a taxi; use LE1 7RH to get to central campus, or LE2 1SD to get to Brookfield.
Travel discount
We have teamed up with National Express to offer 50% off coach travel on your journey to one of our Offer Holder Days.
Hotel discount
For those travelling a long distance, we are able to offer a discounted bed and breakfast rate at College Court.
