LD3 has dedicated staff and state-of-the-art laboratories and has received a number of Medical Research Council Confidence in Concept Awards. It has access to a team of experienced translational biologists and equipment in state-of-the-art laboratories alongside business development support from the University’s knowledge transfer professionals (RED).

We partner with medical healthcare companies, big pharma, small biotech companies and contract research organisations, to deliver novel medicines, devices and diagnostics to market.

Institute for Structural and Chemical Biology

The Institute for Structural and Chemical Biology brings together established strengths in structural biology, chemical biology and single-molecule research. The Institute takes advantage of synergies in research technologies and approaches to deliver major advances in both fundamental and translational research.
