Plans for Manor Road – an update for the community

Oadby and Wigston Borough Council, like all local authorities, develop and consult on Local Plans, which set out policies for land use and development in their area.

As part of this planning process the University, like other stakeholders, has proposed sites for consideration, including in the Manor Road and Southmeads area. The public consultation on proposals is then led by Oadby and Wigston Borough Council, allowing local residents and stakeholders to comment before any plans are adopted.
