HyPIR Lecturer urges Welsh ministers to do more for Welsh space sector

Dr Bleddyn Bowen, an expert in astropolitics and space policy based in University of Leicester’s HyPIR was interviewed by the BBC Sunday Politics Wales programme and urged the Welsh Government to do more to encourage space sector growth in academia and industry.

Despite being a non-devolved policy area, Dr Bowen says, the Welsh Government can still take action to encourage growth, investment, and research in the space sector through UK and European level space policy frameworks.
