Celebrating graduation photos videos and more online

Congratulations to all of the students who have graduated last week and to the distinguished leaders who received honorary degrees from the University at our degree ceremonies from 11 - 14 July.

This week also saw the graduation of our youngest ever graduate and of the Mayor of Oadby and Wigston.

Our photographers and multimedia team were at De Montfort Hall capturing the ceremonies and attendees all through the week. Photographs and videos from the ceremonies have now been uploaded to the News Centre's microsite, follow the links below to view the content for each day:

11 July 2017, 11am & 3pm

Graduating students from the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities and College of Science and Engineering. Honorary degrees were awarded to Michael Attenborough (Distinguished Honorary Fellow) and Professor Eugene Stanley (Doctor of Science).

12 July 2017, 11am & 3pm

Graduating students from the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities and College of Medicine, Biological Sciences and Psychology. An honorary degree were awarded to Professor Surinder Sharma (Doctor of Laws).

13 July 2017, 11am & 3pm

Graduating students from the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities. An honorary degree was awarded to Chas Bishop (Doctor of Laws).

14 July 2017, 11am & 3pm

Graduating students from the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities. Honorary degrees were awarded to Sir Nicholas Green QC (Doctor of Laws) and Professor Gordon Campbell (Doctor of Letters).
