Support for Malaysian students
Transition to Leicester
We understand that moving to a new country can be a challenge, but at Leicester you will join a welcoming community who are here to support you in settling at the Law School.
Personal support
You will be assigned a tutor specifically for Malaysian students who will support you in your transition to Leicester. You can seek advice about both academic and personal issues throughout your degree. We also have an in-house Student Support Team who can help you if events in your personal life impact your studies.
Student societies
The University has an active Malaysian Society, which arranges a wide variety of events, including Chinese New Year, Deepavali and Aid celebrations, as well as social and sporting events.
As a multicultural university, we welcome students of all faiths and have an active Islamic Society
