* Please note the change of time of this ceremony for some students.

Earlier this year we asked students awarded their degree in either July 2020 or January or July 2021 if they wished to attend a graduation ceremony in January or July 2022. It was clear from the high response rate that many are understandably still keen to attend a ceremony and we're excited to be able to host these now.

If you expressed a preference for either January or July, you will be invited to the ceremony for your School in the month of your choice. Many of you said you didn't mind when you attend a ceremony, so you will be invited to either January or July based on numbers for your School. All ceremonies are by invitation only and you will be notified individually of the ceremony you will be invited too.

If you did not respond to our request for your preference and you would still like to attend a ceremony, please email us at graduation@le.ac.uk with your full name and student ID number. You will still be able to attend a ceremony but at this point, it may not be possible to give everyone their preference between January and July.

If any of your contact details change, please let us know by emailing graduation@le.ac.uk with your full name and student ID number.

** Please note an additional date has been added to the ceremonies taking place in January 2022.

October 2021 Cohort - Your Graduation Certificates

Once awards for the October cohort have been conferred, our Graduation team will begin dispatching all graduation documents for the October 2021 cohort. Don't forget, you may be eligible for the Higher Education Achievement Report (also known as HEAR).  This is a comprehensive record of your achievement and it includes a digital transcript you can access once you have completed your studies.  Please visit our HEAR webpage for further details.

Confirming your personal details

Students who are due to graduate this October have been contacted to:

  • Confirm the details that will be on your degree certificate, and make sure we have the right address to mail it to
  • Tell us how you would like to receive communications from the University after you leave and join our Alumni Association
  • Tell us about your future plans and interests so that our Career Development Service can continue to provide you with support.

Fee deadlines

Please note, if you have any tuition fee debts these will need to be paid by the deadline in the registration email in order for you to receive your certificate and transcript (if applicable).

Postage options

Your certificate and transcript (if applicable) will be sent by Royal Mail Signed For to the address you have provided unless you have purchased DHL delivery.

Please note you will need to sign on receipt of your parcel. As such we recommend that you do not provide a PO Box address, EXCEPT if you are in Africa or the Middle East where PO Boxes are routinely staffed to accept mail and provide signatures.

Please be aware, certificates and transcripts (if applicable) will not be sent until after your award has been conferred. This will likely take place at the end of October and documents will be dispatched as soon as possible afterwards. You will receive an email to your personal email address with your tracking reference number once your documents have been posted.
