Training

Bespoke training courses for mid and senior level management are being designed by the International Professional Development Unit Staff. These are taking place throughout May and July, when we welcome AIOU staff to the University of Leicester.

University of Leicester staff will design, develop, and deliver a leadership training programme which provides senior AIOU staff with an insight into leadership, strategic level management, and decision-making across the UK higher education sector. The programme will offer a combination of academic inputs to provide a conceptual framework through which to explore and prioritise learning, alongside practitioner sessions that will offer insight into practice and implementation of new ideas related to the management of a large-scale open university.
