Trustworthy Autonomous Systems
This group aims at developing robust and trustworthy autonomous systems for a range of environments. The autonomous systems may be in extreme environments such as space, sea, or in environments where they interact with humans, or may be limited in computational resources. The group aims to develop bespoke AI solutions for key problems such as image and video processing, and swarm robotics, and to develop methods to specify and test software used in such applications and study the foundations of trust in interactions between humans and autonomous systems.
