Our three-week programmes combine general and academic English classes with subject-specific content, as well as a varied social programme where you will meet and socialise with other students. English for Humanities International Summer Programme
Learn from leading University academics, with particular focus on Shakespeare and the discovery of King Richard III’s remains by the University of Leicester.
The main aim of this three week course is to help participants improve their general and academic English. In addition, students will develop their knowledge surrounding Humanities and gain an insight to life in the UK. Participants on this programme are expected to have a minimum English level of IELTS 5.0, or equivalent.
English for Medics International Summer Programme
The English for Medics International Summer Programme is ideal for medical students and health professionals who want to improve their English in a hospital or medical setting. The course has run for over sixteen years. Participants on this programme are expected to have a minimum English level of IELTS 4.5, or equivalent.
Leicester Discovery International Summer Programme
This course is aimed at students with an intermediate level of English. You will gain new English language and academic skills whilst learning about British life and culture.
Participants on this programme are expected to have an English level between IELTS 3.5 - 5.0, or equivalent.
