Library and Learning Services
We support the research, teaching and learning activities of our students and staff.
University Library
The Library provides space for individual and collaborative study and extensive digital resources comprising more than 800,000 e-books and 65,000 e-journals. It is home to more than a million printed volumes.
We are committed to working in partnership to provide benefit to our users, influence the development of scholarly communication and support the wider community. We are members of Research Libraries UK (RLUK) which represents 39 of the leading and most significant research libraries in the UK and Ireland.

Information Hub
The Information Hub can help with library and student enquiries, and signposting to services in the Library and across the University. It can be contacted by email, online, over the phone and in person, and is located on the ground floor of the David Wilson Library.

Archives and Special Collections
The Library has extensive collections of rare books, manuscripts, historical photographs, engraved portrait prints and personal archives. These can be consulted by appointment in our Kirby and West Special Collections Reading Room. A range of our collections may also be consulted online.
