Celebrating the enduring friendship between the University of Leicester and Thailand

To celebrate our valued partnership with King Power, the University of Leicester is delighted to introduce the King Power Thai Scholarship.

This exclusive award recognises the shared commitment of King Power and the University of Leicester to advancing education, opportunity, and cultural exchange between our two nations.

Under this scheme, all Thai-domiciled international students commencing a full-time, campus-based undergraduate or postgraduate taught (PGT) programme in September 2026 will automatically receive a tuition fee discount of £5,000.

Discount levels

  • Undergraduate (UG): £5,000 per year
  • Postgraduate Taught (PGT): £5,000

A partnership of pride and purpose

The University of Leicester is deeply honoured to partner with King Power, one of Thailand’s most respected and visionary companies. King Power’s enduring support for education and youth development embodies the same spirit of innovation, excellence, and generosity that drives our University community, and our Citizens of Change ethos.

Together, we share a vision of empowering future generations of Thai leaders, scholars, and changemakers who will contribute to both Thailand’s continued success and the strengthening of UK–Thai relations.

Through the King Power Thai Scholarship, we celebrate not only this important diplomatic milestone but also our shared belief in the transformative power of education.
