Accepting your offer
You can accept your offer by going to UCAS Track, although you'll only be able to do this after you've received decisions from all of the universities that you applied to.
If your offers are conditional on exam results or other requirements, you'll usually need to make a firm choice and an insurance choice.
After this you will receive further instructions about what to do next, including how to pay and how to register as a student.
If you have any queries at any stage, please contact our Admissions team on email@example.com or +44 (0)116 252 5281.
A small number of applicants each year receive an unconditional offer. This is an offer of a place on your chosen course with no conditions or requirements. For example, if you have taken a break between leaving school or college and are applying to university then you will already know your A-level grades when you apply, and so will we, enabling us to make you an unconditional offer.
If your application form is exceptionally impressive, we may make you an unconditional offer. We will take into account all of the information available to us, including your personal statement, your teacher’s reference and your GCSE results. If we make you an unconditional offer ahead of your A-levels, that demonstrates our confidence that you have the necessary qualities to excel on one of our degrees. Without any concern about reaching certain grades, you will be able to focus on achieving excellent A-level results that will be an indicator for prospective employers when you start applying for jobs. The fact that you received an unconditional offer will also look pretty good on your CV!
Responding to an unconditional offer
You don’t have to accept your unconditional offer straight away. In fact, it is actually not possible to make your decisions on UCAS Track until you have received responses back from all your institutions. An unconditional offer does not require you to select Leicester as your firm choice – although obviously we hope that you will!
Before you make your decision, we would very much like the opportunity to meet you at one of our UCAS Visit Days, which we hold between December and April.
Now find out about meeting the conditions of your offer.
