Welcome to the handbook for the Growth Accelerator for Social Entrepreneurs programme.

This handbook is designed to be your companion throughout the programme, offering space for notes, strategy setting, and completing key tasks to enhance the financial sustainability of your social enterprise.

Divided into five sections, each section of the handbook will provide an explanation of how to create growth and suggested tasks for you to complete:

2. The importance of strategy to growth
3. Building a business case for growth
4. Building credible teams; and
5. Implementing growth

While growth for profit making businesses and social enterprises have different rule books, both can learn from each other.  Social enterprises benefit from the business rule book but also have the advantage of being able to access more income streams and partnerships.

Growth occurs when multiple aspects of an organisation align.  A successful business offers products and services that make customers happy, generating strong demand.  The company's infrastructure, including technology, operations, and people strategy - enable this demand to be met as it continues to grow.
