Profile
I have studied at De Montfort University completing my BA (Hons) in History in 2017 where I looked at diabolism in English witchcraft and completed my MA in History in 2019 where my research focused on the presence of familiars in English witchcraft.
Research
Currently as a recipient of a GTA studentship at the University of Leicester my PhD research focuses on the role of water and healing during the Reformation. It will look at aspects of water culture in early modern England from 1520-1680 in order to demonstrate the magnetism of water and the natural world in early modern society.
My research interests lie in early modern English history particularly the social and cultural history of magic healing folklore and the supernatural.
